A fantastic local ramen spot in Wakkanai that truly exceeded my expectations. The shoyu ramen was absolutely delicious—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I also loved the fried rice and gyoza, both were surprisingly good and great value for money. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and what made it even better is that the restaurant is very foreigner-friendly. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic and satisfying meal in Wakkanai.

Open late, and has a cat living inside the restaurant. Decent selection of ramen and fried noodle dishes, plus if your traveling with children they have a priority table. It was difficult to find anything open in wakkanai with vacancies, and if you struggle with japanese they have an English menu available!

a reliable place to go for a later dinner, since a lot of places close early. ate here twice during our time in wakkanai, and the few establishments that we weren’t worried will turn us away because we were foreigners. owners were also kind and quick! their signature dish is chow mein (~1100 yen), which was loaded with vegetables and pretty good! their gyozas are great too. only issue is that the interior is yellowed and filled with cooking smoke, making it a little hard to breathe sometimes 🙃

This place is a little slice of heaven. You get a quick hot meal thats delicious and you can smoke inside. Same staff the three times I went, really feels like a family joint.

Great place, very accommodating for international travel. Food was really good. It does allow smoking, so be aware if this is a problem.
