I stopped by for dinner while traveling. I had the katsu curry, and it had a taste that somehow felt nostalgic. The spice level was just right, and it was so affordable that I wondered if the price was okay. The cutlet was also thick and truly delicious. There are also tatami-style table seats, so I think it's perfect for visiting with family. When I come to Wakkanai again, I definitely want to drop by. Thank you for the meal.

A restaurant we walked 30 minutes to from our accommodation. Even though we can barely speak Japanese, they greeted us kindly, and when we pointed at the menu, they wrote it on a whiteboard and took our order. I was hungry so I asked for lots of rice, and they really gave me a lot, which surprised me and I was grateful for their warm heart. The ginger-grilled dish (shoga-yaki) was just ginger. The big pieces of meat felt like a lot, but the meat was tender so it was fine. The miso soup was so, so delicious. I always leave rice behind, but it was so good that I finished everything! ☺️ A restaurant I'd like to visit once again. Thank you. 🤗
