I visited on a weekday night and was the only one there. Had the Omakase meal for dinner which was surprisingly amazingly delicious!!😋 I’m glad i tried it! The food was very affordable too, for ¥1100 you get a lot!🍚 Located right beside Hotel 美雪, the restaurant gave a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere with the design and music playing in the background. The auntie who manned the shop alone does everything from cooking, serving to handling the bill. Wishing her all the best & would love to come back here for a meal again!!

The meal looked normal but it was very delicious. It’s not curry and the taste is unique to me, just haven’t taste anything like that before. I like the music in the background and owner didn’t disturb you. So I ordered a glass of Super Nikka with water afterwards. It tasted very comfortable, well balanced, not too light even with water. When I paid the bill I talked with the owner a bit, she is a nice lady actually. I was motivated by the previous comment “don’t worry, just go”. I’m totally agreed with him.

This was a great find. I thank the other Google Reviewers. I had the beef stew and my partner had the omakase set. Both were delicious and plentiful. The owner is lovely. A lot of locals eat here regularly and I can understand why ! Take a walk up the spiral staircase and enjoy !

This is a restaurant next to Hotel 美雪 near Wakkanai Station. After having the omakase meal, I enjoyed chatting with the okami over mizuwari drinks. It's like a snack bar where you can eat. It was a lovely place where you can spend time slowly. Addendum: I first visited in late September 2025. That day, after 5 p.m., I called to ask if I could come. They said they could only serve omakase, but since I was traveling alone with nothing in particular to do at night and it was next to the hotel, I casually said yes please and went. During my stay there were several calls and visits from regulars. Listening to the stories, I'll largely omit the details since they're personal, but apparently it was originally started with her husband, the two of them, and has continued for several decades. I know it's not my place to say, but I'd be grateful if you could take such things into consideration. Finally, I pray for the health of the okami and everyone who reads this.

On Saturday just after 18:00, I paid my first visit to "Ma Vie" next to Hotel 美雪, where I always stay, since I'd been curious about it. When I went in and said "Is one person okay?", the mama came out, said only "I can't make food" with a troubled look, and went back to the kitchen. I said "Sorry" and left. They open at 18:00 and I went in around 18:10···. Maybe the timing was bad. A disappointing incident. I'd like to try again.
