北の台所なごみKita No Daidokoro Nagomi
Kitano Daidokoro Nagomi on the 2nd floor of Fukuko Ichiba offers a wide range of dishes, from Chaamen, Wakkanai's soul food, to omurice that is hugely popular with children and adults alike, hamburger steak made with Soya Kuroushi beef, and curry and Chuka-don that are popular after the onsen or sauna. From the restaurant, please spend an elegant time savoring nostalgia while looking out at the harbor. It is connected to Yamu Wakkanai Onsen Minato no Yutomo, so onsen guests can use Kitano Daidokoro Nagomi as is.

I wanted to eat Soya Kuroushi but steak is expensive, then learned there was hamburger steak so I went. Is it really Soya beef? 🤔 It's certainly tender, but the onion sauce is so strong that the taste of the hamburger steak doesn't matter anymore…… And it's almost 1500 yen but a food court system. Come pick it up! Clear it yourself when you're done! I just can't like this system. The kitchen ladies' chatter was audible the whole time, and service? What service did I receive? Atmosphere? The shop interior is trying hard for a good atmosphere, but the ladies on staff ruin it all completely. This only works because it's the northernmost restaurant and is together with a big souvenir shop and bath, and if asked whether I'd come again? The northernmost McDonald's might be better in taste, service, and cost performance? 🤔 Ah, the toilet on the 1st floor was clean (*´ω`*)
View on GoogleRelaxing while gazing at the harbor, a drink after the bath. Enjoying the slow passing of time while eating the hokke set meal (1,500 yen)… On Monday–Friday, the Classic draft beer for 400 yen special is nice too! 2026.4.21 Revisit. As expected, I ordered the shimahokke set meal again this time Last order at lunchtime is 14:40, so you need to be careful about post-bath beer and so on.
View on GoogleWhen entering the building for the first time from the Hatoba Yokocho side, the first floor is empty and seems to have no shops, but I found a staircase in a blind spot at the back and went up to the 2nd floor. Then I passed the onsen entrance to reach the shop entrance. Very hard to find.
View on GoogleI had the fuwa-toro omurice set and the drink bar. It was very delicious. Large rice portion is ¥150, I ordered it without noticing when ordering, but there was plenty(^∇^) However, the location is hard to find, being at the very back of the second floor, so be careful as it's hard to spot the first time. Also, in the evening the first-floor toilet is closed and only the second floor one is available, so please note that. The space imitating various Nomiya Yokocho is also quite elaborately made. And if you peek at the central space from the 2nd floor… hmm, it's quite eerie (lol) The entrance from the parking lot is also hard to find, so I think they should put a sign in front of the parking lot after the market closes. It's so nice otherwise, so it'd be a shame for people to go home without knowing. I'd love to take the onsen too, but I have to get back to my lodging in Horonobe, so I'll give up this time I don't know if I can come again, but if I do I'll bathe.\(^o^)/ Now, driving at night is full of danger from animals, so I must be careful going home!
View on GoogleI used it while using the adjacent onsen. It can also be accessed from inside the onsen facility, and it seems you can use it for meals only. I ordered the Chaamen (1100 yen). There are days when it isn't served, so you need to check the calendar. Wakkanai's soul food, the sauce and ingredients were generous so even without a large portion I was full. One thing I liked was that the drink bar is free for mont-bell members. Service is basically self-service, so it's neither good nor bad. Eating while looking at the sea was the best.
