A delicious soba restaurant that hand-cuts its soba in the shop. Kanto style with a dark broth. The aroma of the soba is also very good. There are soba dishes rare in Honshu, such as nishin soba.
View on GoogleFirst visit. I came a bit early, so I was able to get in right away. After 12 o'clock it got quite crowded. I ordered the duck seiro. The soba was slightly thick, firm, and delicious. The broth was rich with dashi and tasty too. The duck meat was sliced quite thick, yet it was tender and juicy. My impression was that the staff were energetic and spoke in a pleasant way. There are few good places like this in Wakkanai (other than chain stores), so I feel it's precious. I'd like to come again. I wish they would accept cashless payment if possible!
View on GoogleIf you feel like having handmade soba in Wakkanai, don't hesitate—this is the place (^_^)/ The soba made by the proprietress is very firm, delicate, and high quality, so you can't go wrong. The buckwheat flour, the noodles, and the broth will surely wow the tongue of a soba connoisseur like you.
View on GoogleI stopped by while on a business trip to Wakkanai, and it was a really delicious place! The soba has a nice bite, yet the noodles feel smooth in the mouth. The dipping broth wasn't too sweet or too salty, a moderate flavor that balanced well with the soba‼️ The tempura had a batter that wasn't too thick and a nice texture. I ordered shrimp tempura and it was plump and delicious 😋 The staff were always smiling and attended to us politely, so I could enjoy a pleasant lunchtime. On business trips I tend to end up eating more greasy food, but the wild vegetable soba was so good that I might end up coming here regularly‼️ Thank you for the meal‼️ The photo is the cold wild vegetable soba, large portion, with shrimp tempura topping.
View on GoogleI found this handmade soba noodle shop on a whim. The noodles are springy and chewy. I ordered the wild vegetable soba and the fried-items soba, and both were delicious. I highly recommend friends visiting Wakkanai to give it a try, but it's not in the city center, so it may be more convenient to drive.
