We came to this place after finding out that Urokutei was fully booked...and what a great find. Place was very unassuming and we were not even sure if it was open - we came at 5pm after the ferry ride from Rebun island. No English menu was provided so we used an app to translate. Ordered the sushi set and chirashi set...plus anago and fugu tempura. All dishes were superb - highly recommended!

The owner touched my food with his fingers after he had served it. He also suggested I should eat with my hands instead of chopsticks. Sushi was average.

I stopped by here on a trip to Hokkaido and ordered the jō-nama sushi. Every topping was very delicious. I don't like ikura, but the ikura here was very fresh and I could eat it happily. The tuna in particular was delicious and I was very satisfied!

The best. Judging from the reviews, the other dishes must be absolutely wonderful and delicious too. It's natural for expensive food to be delicious, and you can eat it in Tokyo as well, but I was still moved by how the taste exceeds the price. I thought coming all the way to Wakkanai would be the first and last time in my life, but when I remember the view of Cape Noshappu and the food here, I want to go again.
