If you're going somewhere nearby. It's definitely worth a visit. A museum about this city and its past. Mostly focus on a time when it was a coal mine city. Everything is quite well made and very friendly staff.

View on GoogleVisited 2024/07/14 Since this is a free facility, I was not expecting much, but there were lots of things to see and exhibits 👀👀 At the time, there were no visitors besides me, and a staff member told me all sorts of things about the exhibits. I had fun ♪
View on GoogleI could visit for free. You can learn about the history of coal mining in Utashinai City. There is plenty worth seeing, and I recommend it.
View on GoogleYou can enjoy it for free. It is set up so you can understand Utashinai's history. This time I did not have enough time and only looked around for about 1 hour, but it feels like you could enjoy spending half a day here.
