Food quantity is perhaps enough for 2 persons if small eater . Free parking . This place is actually a JR Urukawa station

I chose the butadon and soba set. All this for 1000円 is cheap! It felt like fantastic value!

I had the zangi set meal. I came to Samani on business from Fukuoka in Kyushu. Fukuoka's karaage has a crispy outer coating, but the karaage here is soft, with deeply flavored seasoning, and was very delicious. The generous portions of zangi and rice were satisfying. Being able to pay by credit card was helpful. Thank you for the meal.

Visited 2024/9/15 I'd passed the shop many times, but this was my first visit. I came to eat katsumeshi, apparently Urakawa's soul food. I had the katsumeshi and kake soba set for 990円. The slightly sweet kake soba paired with the rather salty katsumeshi was delicious. It tasted like a quintessential set-meal diner. The menu described the katsumeshi as a small bowl, but it was enough for this guy over 50. It shares the building with a post office. There's a waiting room with chairs, tables, toilets, and even vending machines, making it perfect for a break while touring! There's also a smoking ashtray at the entrance, so everything is provided. There were tracks from a closed railway line behind it. Apparently this is a former station. The diner seems to attract lots of locals. I'd like to come again. 2024/9/16 I visited again after yesterday, but the shop was closed and the rest area was locked, so I couldn't enter. Apparently the rest area is only open during the shop's business hours too. So I used the outdoor toilet. Then I bought a canned coffee from the vending machine and took a smoking break. The ashtray was available.
