Very authentic ramen experience. My family was big so we were invited to the back of the shop to eat. What I remember most was how big the bowls of ramen were. This place could be a secret sumo hang out
View on GoogleI got milk curry ramen (pictured) and my husband got miso ramen. He said his was good, and mine was fantastic! The base was curry, so it was spicy, but the milk took some of the edge off, so eating the noodles and such was perfect, but it was too spicy to drink just the broth. I usually can't handle anything spicy though, so I was surprised at how much I loved it! The shop was small, with only 6 counter seats and no tables, but it wasn't busy at 11:45 on a Sunday. The owner was really nice and talked to us the whole time we were there even though our Japanese is just okay. The menu had a few other types of curry ramen as well as a kimchi ramen, on top of the regular selection (corn, butter, chashyu, etc. ramen). This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint!

View on GoogleAn acquaintance brought me here for the first time. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they suggested milk miso curry, so I ordered it. There was butter on top, and when I tasted the soup while melting it in, it was very mellow. The subtle curry flavor and miso flavor blended perfectly in my mouth, and it was delicious. It was so good that I drank all the soup (lol). It was the shop's recommendation, but I recommend it too. Also, the public bath「まさご湯」is next door. A ramen shop and a public bath together is quite unusual, and it felt charming and very refreshing. まさご, I'll stop by if I get another chance to visit 浦河!
