It was a very homey space. There were lots of cute decorative items on the walls, and today's lunch was loco moco✨I ordered the pumpkin chiffon cake, coffee, and vanilla ice cream set. As I was leaving, they said, “Stay and relax a little longer❗”😂and it made me feel happy. Thank you for the meal.

This is a seasonal cafe run by dairy farmers. It's in Toyotomi, Hokkaido. It's hard to find a chance to visit: they close in winter because of deep snow, and in summer because dairy farming keeps them busy. If you're coming from far away, I recommend calling to check whether they're open. Although it's a cafe, the gapao rice and seasonal vegetables (homegrown) are really delicious. Above all, of course, dairy farmers' specialty is milk. Their dairy desserts are exquisite. Especially the chiffon cake. I've never had a chiffon cake that felt so melt-in-your-mouth.

This is the only coffee shop in the dairy-farming district of Shonai, opened in 2016. The Yamaki couple who run it are dairy farmers too, and despite being busy, they have built this warm, welcoming place with help from people in the district and even throughout Toyotomi! My favorite, and my recommendation, is the set of coffee brewed by the owner, his wife's homemade chiffon cake, and ice cream♪ They generally open on Saturdays and Sundays, but may close during grass season or bad weather, so calling before visiting is probably the safest way to check. The pickles were delicious! They let me have lots of soup refills! The service and comfort were fantastic! If I could be selfish, I'd want to go every week (haha)
