We stopped here for coffee and cake. It was a cozy and welcoming cafe with good coffee and really nice cakes (cheesecake and chocolate cake). The owner / barista is also a certified coffee grader, and he has his own roaster. Today we had Brazil beans, he also has Ethiopia beans. Worth a stop and a walk down to the free thermal foot bath on Lake Toya shoreline.
View on GoogleGot brunch there and we loved it! Got the Cream cheese+tomato+basil+ proscuttio sandwich and the potato gratin with Sausage with toast. Both were fantastic. The gratin was warm and rich and the bread was so fluffy and yummy (baked in house!). Plan on going back to try the coffee which sounds like it's roasted in house. Highly recommend. Free wifi.
View on GoogleAn excellent cafe managed by a couple. As advertised by another person, I tried the cheesecake as recommended by the husband. It tastes delicious! It’s got a different taste compared to usual cheese cake and it is NOT as sugary as most! Also had the curry rice and the black coffee! A worthwhile place to go to. Fyi, the couple has a strong Japanese ethics code. Another large group of 6 people arrive and they close immediately so as not to cause delay to incoming customers!
View on GooglePerfect spot for a coffee. The best we had so far. The gratin was a intricate blend of happiness and warmth. English menu was a nice welcome.
View on GoogleOne of the best sandwiches (ham + cheese + tomatoes + basil) I had in years. Excellent coffee and smoothie. Gâteau Chocolat was also good but seemed a bit less sweet for my taste. The price is very reasonable (sandwich + smoothie for ¥1,100, cake + coffee for ¥700). All food are handmade and the coffee is roasted in house. The owner are friendly and greet you with a big smile. The vibe is cozy and comfortable. Must visit if you’re at Toya lake.
