The kimchi ramen is so good. They aren’t kidding when they say it’s spicy. Exactly how I love it. Perfect flavor snd spice level. First place we ate at in Hokkaido while visiting Lake Toya. 100% recommend.
View on GoogleThe staff is mainly an elderly, but they're very friendly. The food is quite my palate, the taste is balanced. The gyoza, and the chasiu is homemade, I recommend you order it if you ever go to this restaurant. The restaurant is tourist friendly, there's english translated on the menu. Overall, I'll come back to this place again.
View on Google30/04/2025 Because lots of restaurants were closed due to Golden Week, I stumbled into this ramen joint as the opposite Italian restaurant was full. The food was okay, slightly higher in price. Seems like it is run by an old couple with some staff. The husband who is the cook seems friendly. The wife has a very grumpy look but not necessarily rude. Given the benefit of doubt, I believe she witnessed years of unruly tourists that scarred her from her hospitality haha 😅 Still had a decent meal. But there are better options. Consider Sendoan which is located at the Wakasaimo Honpo Lake Toya store.
View on GoogleI don't understand why this restaurant is so underrated. Ramen is fresh and delicious. Decent prices.
View on GoogleWe dined here the other night and it was delicious. We popped in to escape the cold and were welcome with big smiles. The restaurant appears to be family run and offers counter seating and limited table seating. We ordered miso ramen , pork ramen and a serve of gyoza, as well as a beer and OJ. The gyoza were super tasty and tasty authentic. The ramen were a generous serve , with tasty noodles and broth. Definitely worth a visit!
