If you're visiting Lake Toya (Toyako Onsen), I highly recommend pinning The Toya on your map! It's a perfect spot since it functions as a restaurant, cafe, and bar all in one. The interior feels cozy and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of dishes, including Japanese food, fresh seafood, and must-try Hokkaido-style grilled menus. If you're looking for something hot to warm you up, I highly recommend their Hokkaido-famous Soup Curry. The flavor is rich and well-balanced. Pairing it with your favorite drink at night is absolutely amazing!

We ate at this restaurant yesterday. I had a Fried Scallop curry rice, which was very good and my wife had the Wagyu beef. She loved it so much that she absolutely wanted to eat it again today. Then, we went back today. No joke! This is the best - tasty - melting in the mouth - Wagyu we’ve ever eaten. Location: Conveniently located just opposite a big parking space. They also have a good selection of food and drinks. friendly and quick service. If you are visiting lake Toya, this is a MUST dining stop ✋

We came here for a late lunch. The food is fantastic, better than most restaurants we have tried. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was clean and comfortable but a bit cramped. I also read they had a fantastic view of the lake and mountain but p it was recently blocked by a new supermarket restaurant building. Nevertheless, if you are visiting Lake Toya, I highly recommend coming here just for the food.

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had on my trip. Every single dish not only looked amazing but the flavors were on point. Everything was delicious. We couldn’t decide and ended up ordering so much food and I could not pick a favorite. We ordered the King Crab hot dog, Hokkaido Cheese, Wagyu steak bowl and truffle fries. I am definitely coming back to try more dishes.

Great food for a western palate. Good music playlist (plays top 40, Justin Bieber, the weeknd ) so I easily feel at peace here. ☺️ food could be more flavorful and it’s a bit pricey so it’s definitely a tourist destination, but just know that before u come to manage expectations. Let’s just say it’s no hot spice shop hood dog in Sapporo….
