Our secret 【raw sauce】, maintained since our founding, and the 【selection】 and 【cutting】 by skilled craftspeople are what make our yakiniku special. Since our founding in 1985, we have stubbornly stayed true to our proud <raw sauce>, made without heating to preserve its flavor and aroma. With a clean finish that brings out the meat's deliciousness to the fullest, this superb sauce is the essence of “Kongoen,” loved by the people of Tomakomai for over thirty years. The meat served at Kongoen is also carefully chosen, high-quality meat sourced through experienced <selection>. This delicious meat is then meticulously <cut> with artisan skill and served. Everything comes from our desire to “see our customers' faces as they enjoy delicious food…”. All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses, and from lunch to dinner, a wide range of men…

I had a fantastic yakiniku dinner at Kongoen Honten, one of the well-known barbecue restaurants in Tomakomai. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese atmosphere, with a cozy setting and built-in grills at each table, allowing guests to cook their own meat just the way they like it. The restaurant had a warm and inviting vibe, perfect for both groups and solo diners. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful, explaining the menu and making great recommendations. Even though the place was busy, the service was fast, and we never had to wait long for anything. We ordered a selection of beef, pork, and chicken, all of which were fresh, well-marbled, and full of flavor. The highlight was the premium marbled beef, which was incredibly tender and juicy after grilling. The variety of dipping sauces complemented the meat perfectly. Aside from the meat, there were also fresh vegetables and side dishes, making the meal well-balanced. The portions were generous, and every bite was satisfying. Dining at Yakiniku Kongoen Honten was a great experience. The high-quality meat, traditional atmosphere, and excellent service made it a memorable meal. If you’re in Tomakomai and craving authentic Japanese BBQ, this is definitely a place worth visiting
