At 670 yen per bowl, this inconspicuous restaurant offers probably the cheapest ramen you can find in Tomakomai. At least, that's from my personal experience thus far. As the name suggests, the restaurant serves Asahikawa style ramen (so you may wanna go somewhere else if your ramen flavour of choice is miso). The clear soup base is on the salty side. It's decently satisfactory though if I were to nip-pick, I wished the meat could have been more tender. Definitely not the best in Tomakomai but hey, for that price you're paying, there's not much to complain.
View on GoogleThe lady is funny! She's a little blunt, so she might get misunderstood sometimes, haha. A large Asahikawa chashu noodle bowl and gyoza. I added vinegar to the broth at the end and drank it all. The gyoza are ridiculously huge and delicious too!! Recommended!!
View on GoogleSetting aside the fact that this is Asahikawa ramen, I chose miso ramen. The only spicy option was scallion ramen, so I ordered that. The chashu is thin, but there are many slices and plenty of scallions. The broth is light and just a little spicy. According to a posted notice, it's good to add a little vinegar before drinking it. My impression was that it would appeal to older people. The interior is very quiet.
View on GoogleOrdered Aセット ¥950 with “shio.” Most ramen places in Tomakomai serve tonkotsu broth, so a broth with a seafood flavor feels comforting. The salt content is rather high, so that is something to watch out for. The slightly soft, non-yellow noodles might also be unusual in Tomakomai. The small serving of rice is cooked on the soft side.
View on GoogleI had “旭川しょうゆラーメン.” Since childhood, I used to go there with my family every month. Simple, nostalgic ramen with the umami of fish powder. It was delicious.
