Visited around 20:00 on a weekday; there was 1 customer already there who seemed to be a regular. They have 3 varieties: shio, shoyu, and miso. Since it was my first visit, I asked which they recommended, and they said to have whatever I wanted. Feeling a bit stuck, I ordered 醤油らーめん for 900円 with extra menma (+100円). It arrived after about 5 minutes, and I dug in. The soup was dark enough that I couldn't see the bottom, and it included quite thick chashu. The flavor… was something I'd never tasted before. A distinctive soup that's hard to describe, somehow both rich and light. It went well with the traditional medium-thick yellow noodles. A customer who came in later ordered miso without hesitation, so I wondered whether miso might have been better? But will I visit again…? Payment is cash only.

Since it's in the entertainment district, I thought it might only open at night, but it was open during the day, so I went. Incidentally, it opened at 11, not 11:30. The miso was good overall. There were 3 slices of chashu, and they were incredibly tasty. At 900円, that's inexpensive. It's also nice that you can adjust the spiciness with the condiments. I also bought the take-home chashu I'd seen in reviews. It was fantastic as a snack with drinks. They gave me serving instructions too, but it was plenty tasty just microwaved. One thing to watch out for: you'll regret pouring on all the included sauce… The lady owner's service was lovely too. The food came incredibly quickly. Maybe I'll stop by at night as well. I'll definitely buy the take-home chashu again.

A retro ramen shop with counter seating only, in a nighttime dining district. Most nearby shops are closed during the day, but this one also opens for lunch. The shoyu broth is dark in color yet slightly sweet and clean on the palate, clinging nicely to the relatively thin curly noodles—very delicious. It feels like traditional chuka soba. The chashu is also superb, with a well-browned, fragrant surface yet a meltingly tender texture. There is a contracted parking lot nearby that you can use for free, but there are no signs or markings, so you won't know where it is unless you ask the staff.
