Great value for money. Kaisendon costs only 1200yen but served with side dishes, miso soup and noodle.
View on GoogleI visited around 1 p.m. on a Saturday. Maybe because it was raining, I got a seat without waiting in line. There are 3 parking spaces right in front of the shop, but when they're full, the staff will direct you to an alternative parking lot. Inside there are a few counter seats, and in the tatami area a few tables for 4 & 2 people. The nostalgic background music is pleasant. I browsed the menu at the counter while sipping self-service tea. Everything looked delicious so I was torn, but I ordered the Nishichi-don (seafood rice bowl). They asked whether I wanted vinegared rice or plain rice, and I chose vinegared rice without hesitation. After waiting about 15 minutes, the food came out. It's a set with overflowing seafood, small side dishes, and ara-jiru (fish bone soup). I'll leave the freshness of the seafood to everyone else's reports, but personally I felt the ara-jiru was outstanding. The owner was very brisk and lively, which I personally really liked. Many of the other customers there that day were ordering the hokki curry, so I think I'll try it next time too.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch on a weekend. The shop is big enough for about 7–8 groups. There's parking for about 3 cars in front; otherwise, apparently you park on the street on the opposite side. A set costs about 2,000円 and mainly lets you enjoy hokki, sashimi, and hokki curry. Since it was crowded, it arrived in about 20 minutes. It was served in surprisingly small bowls and looked easy to finish, but it was heavier than I expected and filled me up. All the hokki was delicious, and I enjoyed it.
View on GoogleI don't know how long curry rice usually takes to be served, but we waited 30 minutes. Only after we called out to the staff was the food finally brought to us. Also, the customers at the table behind us, even though they came in after us, had already been served and started eating. I don't know whether they had ordered by phone in advance. But overall, it wasn't a very good experience. 715.
View on GoogleVisited 2026.6 A hidden gem relatively close to Puratto Ichiba. There are 7 counter seats, a raised tatami area, etc. Water and such are self-service. The Niinana-don seafood bowl was delicious! Tuna, uni, salmon, shrimp, scallop, octopus, etc. Brisk service, and you can use OK Card.
