Having Jinbei nearby is really GOOD☆( ゚Д゚)b
View on GoogleI ordered bento for the first time. I'd booked for 18:00, but waited a little. The staff were working really hard, and I'm grateful they prepared our large order with so few people. They were also doing their best with the tablet despite not being used to it, which made me want to cheer them on. We had them make 3 ginger pork bentos and 4 katsu curries. The meat was incredibly tender, which impressed me. It was very delicious. What should I order next? Maybe I'll try a haskap onigiri. Thank you for the meal. My first time at Jinbei was definitely the right choice.
View on GoogleAt first I got hooked on the delicious salmon rice bowl, but now I'm hooked on the Hime-dori chicken steak bento and Yusui pork tonkatsu bento. Calling before going to pick it up means less waiting. It gets quite busy in the evening. The pork soup is delicious, but the karaage is delicious too, crispy outside and juicy inside. The 2 of us always polish off a “large” portion. The curry is a little spicy. The parking lot is a little close to the intersection, making it hard to enter, and there aren't many spaces. Going around behind Secoma makes it easier to enter from the opposite lane.
View on GoogleA long-established bento shop in Tomakomai. Promoting local production for local consumption, it keeps Tomakomai residents well fed. Items such as the “hokki seasoned rice bento,” made with Tomakomai's specialty “hokki” surf clams, are popular. There is also a “daily bento,” offered at a low price by simplifying the packaging. On August 28, 2024, PLUS2, which operates the ramen restaurant “Menya Kotetsu,” acquired all its shares, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
View on GoogleIt's useful because it's open late, but it's a shame the Shirakaba branch I always used has closed. I reluctantly use this Tokiwа branch, the nearest one. I bought katsudon (katsuju). I've bought katsuju here before and the meat was rock-hard then too. Why can't you make it like the Shirakaba branch? You're microwaving tonkatsu that was fried and then refrigerated or frozen, aren't you? Microwaving already makes it tough, but heating it more than necessary makes it rock-hard. And the egg is just placed on top rather than cooked together with the tonkatsu. No good! It's the worst katsuju. The meat is rock-hard and impossible to bite through. How did I eat it? I cut it with kitchen scissors. Katsuju, lol. This doesn't happen at other branches. Make properly delicious food!. You used to be able to submit feedback by email, but now it's phone only.
