Didn't expect a long queue at 1130am on a Monday. Mostly locals. Handmade ubon with various vegetable tempura. Order pay and sit. Udon was very good. The spicy soup was very good. So we're my pumpkin tempura. Highly recommended.

On our way from Asahikawa to Niseko and passed by this self made udon restaurant for lunch. It's was as per google rating, the udon was good. They have different soup base/dried, hot or cold udon with tempura. We had item 1 (thick soya soup based), item 2 (clear hot soup base) listed in the Japanese menu with prawn, pumpkin, squid and pepper chicken tempura. The udon come in different sized portion namely 1 serving (good for 1 person), 2 (heavy eater can try) & 3.

There was already a line before they opened at 11:00am. But it was worth the wait! The portions are huge! Even the smallest size was plenty. The tempura are freshly made to order. The noodles are a big thicker and chewier than usual udon shops so it was a bit difficult to eat, but still super delicious nonetheless!

I had hot udon and tempura today, and I must say, this place is very friendly, and the food is delicious. The staff are all very kind and hardworking. I am glad I visited this place. At first, they made the wrong order but they were happy to make it again. That was very kind of them. One of the best memories in Hokkaido.❤️
