Family owned and great variety of local cuisine! Food reminds me of home cooked food. Do visit if nearby.

View on GoogleVisited on Sunday, July 26, Reiwa 8. Before I knew it, 5 years had passed since my last visit. The shop is just as it was back then, which feels comforting. It is the quintessential Showa-era diner. Of course, I ordered the signature chap don. I remember adding a fried egg used to be a secret-menu option, but now they properly ask whether you want one when you order, so there is no worry. Of course, I had the fried egg. There was a whole heap of meat underneath it too, and compared with the amount of rice, the proportions felt unbalanced to me (haha). I should have ordered a large portion. At 950円 (including the fried egg topping), isn't that cheap these days? As I was leaving, a group of about 8 university students arrived in two cars. It really is a popular shop. I'll be back. Thank you for the meal.
