It's a restaurant inside a hotel. I ordered the aigamo duck loin rice bowl for 1380 yen. It came topped with an onsen egg and lemon, and there was quite a lot of duck meat on it. It was light, and I enjoyed it very much.

Visited because I was craving ankake yakisoba. The ankake here has lots of toppings and noodles, so it's filling, and the taste is good too (*^^*) My companion went with the Canton noodles, and those seemed delicious too. It was full after 12, so on weekends it might be better to visit right after it opens at 11. Credit card payment was also accepted.

At check-in, they gave us free drink vouchers. We had already eaten, so there was no chance to use them, which was a shame. If I had known in advance, I would have considered eating at the restaurant, but it was very cold, so we'd already eaten. The next day, we had the breakfast buffet. There were local vegetables and eggs, and the menu was extensive. There was Jingisukan too, but it wasn't labeled, so I couldn't tell where it was from. I think it's good for people who eat a lot. I think it was around 1300 yen.

Visited with my mother when we went to visit the family grave It's on the 1st floor of Miura Kaen My first time at this restaurant I currently live in southern Hokkaido, but 30 years ago the Takikawa area was my sales territory, so this was a return visit to Miura Kaen This time we had the limited lunch available until September I had the Western one (Western-style seafood bowl, stir-fried meat and vegetables, etc., 4 dishes) My mother had the Chinese one (shrimp spring rolls, mapo tofu with eel, etc.), 2500 yen each The taste and portions were just right and we enjoyed it Lunch is limited to 10 servings, at 1600 yen and 2500 yen There are also à la carte Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus So there are plenty of options It seems to get crowded depending on the day of the week So I recommend making a reservation

In May 2023, I had Chinese for lunch from the special menu of the hotel's 135th anniversary special project. The salmon in the salmon salad was just two tiny pieces. The chili shrimp was on the sweet side. I wanted it a bit spicier. The Chinese okoge with ankake sauce was delicious. They pour the piping hot sauce over it at the table. The pho was better eaten as is without adding anything, the broth was delicious, and the chicken in it was very tender. This time it was half price, so a good deal. But I don't think I'd eat it at the original price. Weekday lunch was quite crowded. There were acrylic panels in the middle of the tables, and seats were spaced apart from other seats, so they're mindful of infection prevention, but when it's crowded, you can't hear the people at your own table over the chatter from other tables. At this price, I thought I'd like to try the Western or Japanese sets too. Addendum April 2024 Spring only! They had a special menu of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes for 1500 yen, 10 servings at lunch and 10 at dinner. Some items aren't available depending on the day. The website said everything was available on Sundays, but when I reserved on the day, they told me Western wasn't available. I went with Japanese, but the pork tongue braised in demi-glace was way too salty. The portion wasn't enough either, so I had a Japanese-style parfait for dessert. Though it's called a parfait, it was cake in a glass with sherbet on top. The sweetness is modest. I don't think I'll order the Japanese special menu again. The 3rd image is from 2023 and the 4th image is the 2024 Japanese set.
