I got hungry while shopping at アクロスプラザ, so I visited again after a long time. The staff are as friendly as ever, so⭕️ Last order is at 20:30, and I visited close to 20, but it was bustling with lots of customers. My son thought long and hard before choosing 塩チャーシュー麺. I chose a small fried rice and large gyoza. We shared a little of everything, but the fried rice was so good that I ordered another small fried rice(^^) Thank you for the meal.

I visited 味の時計台滝川店, part of a long-established ramen chain. Unlike the other branches, this restaurant seems to offer Chinese lunch dishes. However, it was cold outside this time, so I chose ramen. I ordered 極旨チャーシュー醤油. Despite the crowds, the bowl arrived fairly quickly. The menu photo suggested enormous chashu slices, but they were smaller than expected, with only three slices. I tried the soup first; it had a fairly rich flavor, with pronounced soy sauce and depth. The chashu had little fat, a firm bite, and moistness, making it more substantial than expected. The noodles were the so-called Sapporo noodles, with a reliably good flavor. Overall, it was delicious ramen, though I feel the flavor balance differs between branches. Inside there are counter seats, tables, and raised seating, with quite a lot of seats, but several people were waiting when I finished and left. The parking lot is quite large, but the spaces are narrow, so some care is needed.

It is in one section of アクロスプラザ in 滝川. It is a chain restaurant, but the flavor varies quite a bit by location. The 滝川 branch seems to have a good reputation. I think miso ramen is the standard choice. This time I had チンジャオロース定食. It tasted better than expected. The crispness of the green peppers was excellent. It came out quickly despite the restaurant being fairly busy. It seems to be offered only at the 滝川 branch, so it is worth trying. I have had the ramen several times, and its flavor has stayed the same over the years. On a later visit, I also had 回鍋肉定食. Both the seasoning and the texture of the vegetables were good. On another day, I had 麻婆豆腐定食 too. It was moderately spicy and went well with rice. Everyone has their own preferences, but although you can choose large, medium, or small rice, I felt large was just right in proportion to the amount of the main dish. I realized, surprisingly, that I had not tried the fried rice here, so I did. The grains were nicely separated and the flavor was just right. It ranks among the best fried rice I have eaten.

It has no flavor. The flavor does not cling to the noodles at all. I had the miso, but the bean sprouts smelled bad. The gyoza had no flavor either. I do not know whether people in 滝川 like this kind of flavor, but I will never go again.

This was my first visit. It was lunchtime, so I waited a little, but turnover was quick and I was seated without much of a wait. The restaurant was full and customers kept coming in, but perhaps the staff were used to it, because the service did not feel unpleasant. Despite the crowds, the food arrived sooner than I had expected. It tasted perfectly good. Thank you for the meal.
