The Hokkaido Spaceport is a vision, where now it's a plain land where some rockets and tests are currently made. There's a (really) small visitor center which holds information about rockets and testing, with apparently rocket competitions too organized sometimes. The disappointing part is that if you do drive all the way there, you can't venture beyond the visitor center, and it is indeed pretty far from other places of interests. The roadside station in the vicinity actually has a larger rocket on display too! One fun fact here is that this location sees the most sunny days in Hokkaido and it's sea faces made it really suitable for commercial rocket launches.

Unplanned visit, glad I stumbled upon this place at a Michi no Eki. Some great displays and charts on the history of flight and space. Free to enter. Quite small, does not require more than 30 to 60 minutes.

Arrived 30 minutes from the "Naumann Elephant Memorial Museum." There were 2 visitors, and we received a polite explanation from the staff and toured at a leisurely pace.😊 In Taiki Town, where vast land stretches out, I think there are various challenges, but I hope it develops into a facility full of dreams and romance 【where you can always see a launch pad】.☺ 11 photos, 1 video Next, to "Cape Erimo
