This seems to be a somewhat well-known sweets café in Sunagawa. I hadn't been able to visit for quite a while, but finally made it. It's downtown and has no parking, so anyone coming by car might have trouble deciding where to park. The inside is fairly small, and the lady owner seems to run it alone. She's very refined, polite, and calm. I wanted lunch as well, so I first ordered shrimp and bacon pilaf, then asked for a chocolate parfait afterward. I was worried that a large portion of pilaf would fill me up, but it was relatively small, so it was just right. Both were delicious.
View on GoogleThank you for the meal, lovely lady owner. The prices were modest, and it was very delicious. I had a parfait, but accidentally captured someone in the photo, so there's no parfait photo.
View on GoogleA coffee shop in Sunagawa run by one older lady I came because I heard they serve shrimp and bacon doria! The cheese and cream went well together, and it was delicious! The owner apparently wants to visit N43, my favorite café in Sapporo, so we had a little chat, which was fun! Other customers were having light meals and parfaits! The friendly service made me want to come back! #Hokkaido #Sunagawa #CoffeeShop #ShrimpDoria
View on GoogleA coffee shop located close to Sunagawa Station. Apparently it's known for its sweets and is also featured in the Sunagawa Sweets Road brochure. I ordered a chocolate parfait. Many parfaits these days have all sorts of ingredients stacked in multiple layers, but the parfait here is very simple, with 9割 made up of whipped cream and ice cream. There's chocolate sauce inside, and strawberries and Pocky on top. Both the cream and ice cream had a refined sweetness, and although I don't usually eat parfaits, I found it really delicious. It's not just the sweets—the Napolitan also has a delicious old-fashioned flavor. The coffee is good too.
View on GoogleThis time, I suddenly felt like having a parfait after work and popped into this shop. About four male customers were already sitting and chatting when I arrived. I ordered an Ogura parfait. It had such a gentle, refined sweetness and was very delicious. What was it?? That elegant sweetness?? It was quite a generous portion, but I easily finished it. Then those four male customers very politely asked the lady owner to take a photo with their smartphone. She cheerfully and warmly agreed, and seeing such a considerate exchange between the owner and her customers was a touching moment. Coffee shops in regional towns really are lovely~🌠
