Price is very reasonable, atmosphere is very homey and warm, boss is friendly and speaks reasonably good English so communication wasn’t an issue. Card and Apple Pay is accepted too. The food is so good for the price especially the pork belly. Pity we are staying at hotel else we would have certainly bought the BBQ takeaway set! We came during the Japan golden week, not sure if it’s the rain but we could walk in as well.
View on Googlestumbled upon this yakiniku restaurant during our visit to toya lake, we went around 2pm on the weekday, the stall was pretty empty. we ordered lunch set, the quality of the beef is great and the price is acceptable. the stall owners are also very friendly
View on GoogleAn affordable place for dinner run by a sweet elderly couple—just the two of them managing everything. We went as a group of three: one meat eater, while the other two ordered chicken and shrimp. The portion size per dish isn’t very large, so it’s better to order one dish per person. The ingredients were fresh—the shrimp and chicken were both delicious. For those who enjoy vegetables, there’s a separate veggie set that comes with kimchi and seaweed. Personally, I found the kimchi to be quite average. Each dish comes with three large lettuce leaves for wrapping, which is a nice touch. Overall, considering the price, it’s definitely good value for money with fresh and tasty ingredients. The owner also speaks English, which makes ordering easy.
View on GoogleAbsolutely one of the highlights of our trip! It was late by the time we got back and very snowy out, but we stumbled upon this place because it was still open. Immediately we were greeted by the owner Testuya and his wife with great enthusiasm! We sat down, had the best yakinuku I've ever eaten, and chalked up some great conversation. Prices were very fair and the atmosphere was cozy. Afterwards, the owner offered to drive us to our hotel personally! Great food, but even better service. I can't wait to go back some day!
View on GoogleGood and affordable food. experience was pleasant and the meat was great. Highly recommend getting the kalbi, Wagyu and miso scallop soup! The scallops were large and tasted super fresh. The boss can speak abit of English so that was really helpful.
