This is the best food I've had in Japan so far. Also first time trying deer and bear meat. I'm going to miss this food.

Perfectly made deer and bear meat with traditional Ainu soup. If you're visiting the museum this restaurant is a must go. The staff are super kind and friendly, explaining the menu and the ingredients. And the price is very reasonable especially if you're used to the prices you might see at restaurants of comparable quality in Tokyo.

Lovely venison and millet rice. Great service. Interesting to try the food of the Ainu.

A wonderful experience of Ainu food, and you can try some Ainu words that you have just learnt at the Upopoy Ainu Centre.

Amazing traditional food with a great view of the village and the mountains. I highly recommend !
