The crab was incredibly fresh and delicious — definitely some of the best crab we’ve had. The scallops were also excellent and very fresh. The service was great too. The staff were extremely kind and even helped us break open the crabs, which made everything much easier. They were very welcoming and friendly to foreigners as well. The location made the experience even better. We had an amazing view of the sea with big waves while enjoying the seafood. Fresh seafood, wonderful people, great service, and an amazing ocean view. Highly recommended!

Seaside binchotan dining with fresh bivalves and catch from Hokkaido’s rich waters. We came off season so the weather was searing hot and despite the heat the catch was still juicy, plump and sweet. The fresh taste of the mega hamaguri clam makes you squint with joy with every springy bite that absorbs the melted butter catalyzed by a dash of kelp shoyu and propels you into multiple dimensions of flavor. Price is just fine and the menu has enough variety if you fancy a surf and turf with kuroge wagyu included in the set. Other highlights include Hokkaido scallops, squid, sweet shrimp and gyutan that sears quickly over the hot binchotan. A definite stop for your first few hours in this region.

Nice BBQ place near the sea side. Food is ok. Worth a try if you pass by and want seafood and beef at the same time.
