天野ファミリーファームAmano Family Farm
4 minutes by car from the Shiraoi Interchange on the Do-o Expressway. This is Amano Family Farm in Shiraoi, Shiraoi District, Hokkaido. Our farm began raising Shiraoi beef in 1995, and with carefully chosen feed and a spacious, stress-free environment for the cattle, we have produced delicious, flavorful meat. Three years later, in 1998, our first manager, Shihoko Amano, was certified under the Hokkaido program to promote women entrepreneurs, and opened the yakiniku restaurant "Amano Family Farm." Since then, we have been in business for over 20 years, supported by local residents and many other customers. In 2021, after graduating from a meat specialty school and training at a yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo…

I arrived at 4pm for a late lunch. This is by far the best beef I had in Hokkaido. Love the lean cut plater, which the meat was extremely tender and juicy but not too fat to feel heavy. I liked the tenderloin the most. The mixed kimchi was also tasty and refreshing. This is a unique experience for everyone if you're near the area.
View on GoogleWe ordered 2 assorted beef sets and it was excellent. The beef was incredibly fresh with great marbling throughout. You can tell it’s top-tier quality. What really stood out was the charcoal grilling. It gave the beef a nice smoky aroma without overpowering the meat itself. The dipping sauce paired perfectly too – savory, a bit sweet, and it cut through the richness well. Price-wise, for beef at this level, it felt like a steal. 10/10 would go back!
View on GoogleUnforgettable Wagyu experience worth every kilometer! I visited specifically to try Shiraoi Beef, a renowned Kuroge Wagyu brand raised in Shiraoi, Hokkaido. Having seen in newspapers and magazines that they have won the LUXlife Magazine Award from the UK for four consecutive years, I knew I had to make the trip. The experience completely exceeded my expectations. The texture and quality of the fat were entirely different from any Wagyu I have tasted before. Even after eating a generous portion, it felt amazingly light and easy on the stomach. I often eat Wagyu in Vietnam, but coming all the way to Hokkaido - traveling over 4,000 km - was worth every single second and kilometer. I cannot recommend this place enough!
View on GoogleIt’s a great experience eating here! The beef is really damn solid, melts in your mouth juicy and tender! The taste is really awesome! 👍👍👍
View on GoogleMight be seated outdoor or indoors. Great food/ beef that has to be cooked individually. Has English translation and staff that understand English. Can become smoky and clothes might smell of BBQ after that.
