It's a great local place. The set meals are the best!
View on Google【モッツァレラの白いチーズ・カレー】1,750円 2026/8 A high-caliber Western-style restaurant in Shiranuka, on the outskirts of Kushiro. The combination of ketchup rice, white curry, and cheese is exquisite. Even if the curry is white, how did they think of pairing curry with ketchup rice? The ketchup rice isn't acidic, so it doesn't clash with the cheese or curry. The curry focuses on umami with a little spice. This was probably chosen with the harmony of all three components firmly in mind too. That non-acidic mozzarella fits into this combination is self-evident. A little pricey if you think of it as curry, but a dish worth its price.
View on GoogleShrimp tendon The shrimp tempura stacked vertically as though rising from the bowl is a spectacular sight. Beyond the visual impact, the shrimp are large and springy, making them very satisfying to eat. The batter is light and crisp, with just the right coating of sweet-savory sauce. It pairs well with the rice too, so you can enjoy it to the last bite without getting tired of it. A bowl with both generous volume and plenty of satisfaction.
View on GoogleI happened to pass by around lunchtime and visited this restaurant. There were lots of appealing dishes, but I ordered the white cheese curry topped with mozzarella, which I'd never seen before. I couldn't imagine the flavor, but it definitely tasted like curry. It was also somewhat like doria. The mozzarella added a nice accent, and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant's atmosphere and background music were calm and pleasant too. The staff were incredibly kind, making me want to come back next year. There were plenty of other dishes I wanted to try, and as I was leaving, they were selling something like a pudding? as a souvenir that would tempt cheese lovers. I'd definitely like to buy some to take home next time. I had a lovely time. Thank you.
View on GoogleI ate here during a business trip to Kushiro. It's the sort of neighborhood Western-style restaurant you'd find in town. The menu is extensive, but the prices are higher than in Sapporo. I really wish they'd convert the raised seating area to sunken kotatsu seating. I went again after about half a year. I ordered the mixed fried-food set. The breadcrumbs were fine, but everything was fried crisp and was excellent. I'd like to go again if I get the chance.
