Price and quality of food pretty decent! Swung by after a long drive and the generous portions were very welcomed!

It used to be good value, but now it's quite a stretch to come as a family. It's a place to visit as a treat when the family wants to come because they want meat! My wife being happy was the only saving grace😊 Apparently it tasted good. Thanks for the meal!

I arrived in Muroran by ferry, went to the restaurant I'd been aiming for, and found it had closed… Continuing along the expressway, I found this place. I wasn't expecting much of a Hokkaido feel, but from the limited-time menu I ordered the regular set with Hokkaido scallops & a 200g hamburg steak (curry bar & soup bar & rice bar). They cut the barrel-shaped hamburg steak into 2 pieces on the spot, and you cook the half-raw meat yourself on the plate. Needless to say, delicious‼︎ The Hokkaido scallops were delicious right down to the mantle‼︎ Naturally, I put the curry from the curry bar over rice (turmeric rice and white rice), and went back 3 times. I also refilled soup from the soup bar (corn and Chinese-style) 3 times. The result: completely full. A good dinner for my first day in Hokkaido.

Early Friday afternoon, while traveling, I ended up at a reliably good chain restaurant—am I conservative? Customers ranged from office workers to ladies of leisure, seemingly a broad, fairly typical clientele. I ordered my usual hamburg steak and chicken, with the salad bar and drink bar, and by the time I left, my stomach was bulging… As an aside, former Shizunai is surprisingly urban!
