What a hedden gem! I came here with the local and we loved their food so much. The lunch of the day came with generous side dish plates and all the food was delicious!! Would definitely come back here.

I visited すぎさわ割烹 for lunch and had the highest-grade nama chirashi. When the dish arrived, it was generously piled with a variety of toppings, looking lavish and substantial. At first I wondered whether I could finish it, but I enjoyed it all the way to the end. I imagine the toppings change depending on what they source at the time, but on this occasion I didn't get the impression that there were many particularly expensive ingredients. Still, being able to enjoy such a wide variety of seafood at once is appealing. Kappo restaurants can feel a little intimidating, but lunch here seems easy to enjoy casually. I thought it was a good option when you want a hearty meal. If I have the chance, I'd like to try another dish.

An incredibly cheap lunch in a private house that feels like stepping back to around Showa 40. This time I had assorted tempura and sushi, and the portions were huge. There was a heaping serving of tempura, and the sushi even came with jellied broth, chilled tofu, and juice. The rice wasn't vinegared, but the fish was very fresh. The owner was humble and pleasant too. I'd recommend it if the old interior doesn't bother you.

I came back after a long time. The parking lot is spacious. You take your shoes off. Lunch is very cheap; both nigiri and nama chirashi are a thousand yen. Side dishes are included. Both the toppings and sushi rice were good. The sides might be a matter of taste. Another customer's thick-sauce ramen? had an enormous portion. Recommended for people who can laugh even if a boiled egg turns up in their miso soup👍
