No frill Ramen shop within the town of shizunai! One of the best ramen shop I have ever been within Hokkaido. They serve flaming wok fried bean sprouts over soup ramen. The Miso Soup Ramen is highly recommended.

driving along, lunchtime, checked trusty google maps and found this spot. packed with locals. had to wait 2 minutes for seat. had curry ramen (while supplies last) with chasu and it was exceptional.

January 2026 I visited at lunchtime. There were only 2,3 customers besides me. I ordered the reliable combination of miso ramen+corn, gyoza, and a half serving of rice. The first bite of ramen tasted peppery, but I quickly got used to it. It was delicious miso ramen! The gyoza were fairly large and good too. The half serving of rice was tasty as well. I stopped by for lunch. It was delicious, rich miso ramen! The price of that deliciousness is a bit of garlic, so you may need to be careful if you're working in the afternoon, haha.

A ramen restaurant in front of the town office. The white soy sauce ramen I had was described as light by the restaurant, but it was quite rich. It was delicious, though.
