The atmosphere was nice, the food was delicious, and we had an enjoyable lunch. I'd like to stop here again when visiting 静内.
View on GoogleA restaurant that's unusual in the countryside: salad and soup first, then the main course, and finally coffee and dessert. The croquette I ordered separately was crispy and delicious. The hamburger steak was ordinary. As you can partly see in the photo, there was dust all around the edge of the rice plate. There was probably dust over the entire plate, and I suspect under the rice as well. I wasn't happy about it, but finished everything. The staff also seemed rather unmotivated. I'd planned to go a few more times, but I've decided against it. With a little more enthusiasm and no dust, I could recommend it to people.
View on GoogleI enjoyed a meal in a quiet atmosphere. There are 2 counter seats by the window, 3 tables, and a counter at the back. I had the bamboo-basket lunch. A small bowl of chicken nanban sits in the center of the basket, surrounded by 5 small side dishes. I was told that the owner is originally from here and trained in 宮崎. The chicken nanban was light and very delicious. The multigrain rice, soup, homemade dessert, and coffee left me very satisfied. There's no parking lot, but there is a space along the row of shops where parking is allowed, so it's worth asking the staff.
View on GoogleA hidden little cafe in 静内, 新ひだか町. It's slightly away from the center, but quiet and relaxing. This time I had curry with fried shrimp and fried fish, but there were also plenty of vegetables alongside the fried items! The colors were lovely and appetizing. As for the flavor, the curry was tomato-based, with a gentle tomato tang and a subtle lingering spice sensation. I liked the flavor. The fried items were crispy and delicious, and the fried vegetables on the side were juicy and delicious too. They seem to offer party platters as well, so perhaps I'll try them for an event.
