Let me put this way: it was fabulous experience. From the dishes designed and perfectly executed, attentive staffs to wine pairing (my favorite). The wine matched with each dishes and the selection from local to European ,not over powering but complement the dishes. Highly recommend if you were in Tomamu .

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The very best meal we had at Tomamu and likely the best we've had across Hokkaido over a decade of ski trips. The chef uses top notch ingredients and then elevates them further through excellent cooking techniques. The view is superb as well with an amazing view of the nightly fireworks over the Ice Village. Service tried very hard but could be smoother, still good though. Highly recommend this restaurant as you are getting a Michelin star experience for only $100 per person and I guarantee you that they will be getting at least one star in the near future then the prices will skyrocket!

What a wonderful restaurant that also became the highlight of our trip to Hokkaido. All dishes were delicious and innovative, and beautifully presented :) The service was top notch and comfortable. Special thanks to Mr Kohei, who attended to us throughout the meal. We really appreciate the effort to introduce the dishes and to talk to us in English, and Mr Kohei speaks excellent English :) They even surprised us with a commemorative photo for our anniversary. Would love to come back again!

Dining at OTTO SETTE Tomamu was an unforgettable culinary experience! Every dish showcased the finest flavors of Hokkaido’s ingredients. From the boiled fish soup to the venison main course, the sea urchin panna cotta, and the exquisite dessert, each course was a masterpiece. The quality of the cuisine here is absolutely on par with the best fine dining restaurants in Tokyo, whether in Ginza, Roppongi, or Azabudai. I would also like to give special thanks to Ms. Mana. Her detailed and elegant explanations of each dish, coupled with her attentive and thoughtful attitude. Her professionalism was comparable with great service in Tokyo’s most renowned restaurants. She truly elevated our dining experience and absolutely deserves a raise for her exceptional work!

We loved how friendly and attentive the staff was at my table. The food was excellent, though the overall pacing of the meal felt a bit slow and we were kinda drained because of this. Still a great experience
