Fabulous view 😍

I stopped for a break during a long drive. The scenery was so vast and wonderful that I found myself quietly murmuring in awe with a sigh, “That’s Hokkaido for you..”. You climb some slightly steep stairs, but they are manageable if you want to be moved by the scenery beyond. I wonder if there is a mountain pass on Honshu with a view on this scale.. I will look for one.

An observation platform beside the national highway overlooking the Tokachi Plain. It is not very high, so it is hard to expect a great view. It is very easy to access.

Once you have made it here, Obihiro is almost thereee🎵 Since you are here, take a break while enjoying the scenery. It really has become much easier to drive compared with the old days. Well, there are hardly any cars driving recklessly either? Right 😆💦
