Visit here late at night before they close. We stayed at hoshino tomamu and thinking to visit the nearby town. The town itself is very quiet and when we arrived there everything closed already, including the gas station. It's a small family owned restaurant but they are very nice and the food is good and the portion is generous. Most of the food come with the rice and on top of it is the vegetables / meat that comes with it. So don't order extra rice. If you happen to be around this area and hungry, give this restaurant a try and hopefully you will like it.

I went here for lunch while working in Shimizu. I ordered 海鮮焼きそば. It had a light, refreshing salt flavor and was very delicious, but it was disappointing that there weren't enough seafood ingredients to really call it seafood.

豚肉入りあんかけ丼　1050円 餃子　650円 The oil was intense this time. Not just the amount—the oily taste felt quite strong too. For some reason, even the 餃子 wrappers tasted oily. The 豚肉入りあんかけ丼 was sweet and oily. Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, shredded pork, and so on. Although called a rice bowl, it all blended into the rice, like ojiya porridge. The piping-hot temperature was lovely, but it might be better served separately from the rice.

【 There's a reason a restaurant lasts★A delicious neighborhood Chinese restaurant needed by the locals 】 At 11:30, right after opening, it was almost full! Since it's in the countryside and there's nowhere else to go, I had thought that might be why it was crowded… But it really is a delicious neighborhood Chinese restaurant★ What I ate was 麻婆豆腐ラーメン. The saltiness was fairly strong, but not so salty that it became unpleasant. From ordering to being served, it took about 20 minutes, which counts against it, but lunchtime is busy, and it's a town with few staff available, so I ate here feeling grateful that they're open at all★ The customer service, even while busy, was kind and courteous, leaving a very good impression★ Since it's the countryside, if you're rude, even your family gets talked about badly, huh. To all the staff, thanks for your hard work★
