we made a little stop here to eat lunch and it was so delicous! the guy who was serving us was super sweet, super kind and very charismatic. even tho we spoke 0 japanese he didn't let that stop him from giving his best service. the menu is japanese only but google translate will take care of that. we had a good time here. the prices are super reasoable as well. we would recommend coming at opening time or even reserving a table cuz it was full. the portions are on the bigger side, i had the karage (fried chicken) and i had to fight a bit. the bento box set was perfect. there is parking right in front of the building. it is totally worth to make a stop here!!
View on GoogleThe interior, food and service are absolutely brilliant. For those who do cycling from 士幌旅館, it is an excellent choice.
View on GoogleIt's very delicious. I had the pork shōga-yaki set meal, and it has a punch, something else entirely from ordinary shōga-yaki. The miso sauce is close in taste to Nagoya's miso katsu sauce, but it has strong richness, is less heavy than miso katsu, and leans toward a Western-style taste. It was truly delicious. The shop seems to have many customers and sometimes you have to wait, but keeping that in mind, going early or late is only natural at an independently run place. They explained it very politely, and the explanations of the dishes were also polite, so I thought the service was wonderful. It seems it can sometimes take nearly an hour until the food is served, so for first-timers planning to go, I recommend calling to "make a reservation" first.
View on GoogleIt's delicious whenever and whatever I eat (^^) The chicken karaage I had for the first time used breast meat, but it was tender and not greasy so it was easy to eat, which surprised me..!! It was fried crispy and light, and I was happy every time I ate it〜! There are sauces too: regular sauce, tartar, and a mildly spicy sauce, and even though it's hearty I don't get tired of it, I could eat any number of pieces! The service and attitude are also excellent (^^) It's a place that's naturally crowded☆ You should definitely call before going♪
View on GoogleThe shop owner was very funny. I had the ume jako fried rice and one slice of shōga-yaki, both were delicious and I thought I'd like to eat the shōga-yaki set next time. I recommend making a reservation before coming! On 8/2 I came again for the shōga-yaki set♪ As expected it was absolutely delicious! The sauce is on the strong side so eating it dipped in cabbage made it go down easily.
