It was within walking distance of my accommodation, so I stopped by. I had 龍の雫 (shoyu). The presentation was beautiful, which made a good first impression. The soup’s roasted aroma stood out, and the shoyu’s flavor and sweetness came through clearly. The seasoning was neither too strong nor too light, with just the right saltiness. The dashi was understated but savory, giving a balanced impression. Unlike the medium-thick, yellow, chewy noodles often seen in Hokkaido, these were white, medium-thin, and slightly firm, reminiscent of noodles I’d eaten at a ramen shop in Kamikawa. Personally, I quite liked them. The toppings seemed carefully prepared. Overall, the seasoning was well balanced and I found it delicious. The interior was thoughtfully designed, creating a relaxing space. The staff were also helpful, and I was satisfied. I think the prices are slightly higher than at other restaurants, but given how much care seems to go into the ramen, they feel reasonable.

【鷹の爪’s flavor is consistent. The service is inconsistent】 ◆The confusing ticket machine The menu is somehow hard to choose from And for payment, the QR scanner’s location is hard to figure out I think first-time visitors will get confused. When queuing, checking the upper left of the ticket machine beforehand makes things smoother. ◆Kitchen cleanliness The kitchen is very clean★ You can also see the cooking Which is reassuring. ◆Flavor It tastes good★ It’s light, but also rich I think it’s what they call “kossari”. There’s chili pepper and chili pepper with garlic on the table True to the name 《鷹の爪》 I could sense their commitment to chili peppers★ A bowl that makes you think “I could come back” after finishing it★ ◆Service impressions Energetic service, though without smiles The energy is good, but when you’re at the counter and they greet arriving customers right beside you the unnecessarily loud voices ring in your ears and get irritating! From the other service I could see compared with the Sapporo Nango branch the attention to small service details seemed a little lacking. ◆Summary Overall the flavor and cleanliness are reassuring So when you want a bowl that isn’t the ordinary ramen you find in the countryside I think this is a good place.

The ticket machine accepts various payment methods, but not QUICPay. I had 龍の雫 (shoyu) with extra chashu for ¥1,350- (tax included). No offense, but it tastes better than it looks. The noodles are curly in the Hokkaido style, and there are plenty of them. Thanks to the fragrant lard, the soup stays hot until the end. It’s also less salty than it looks, and you can taste the depth of the shoyu. The chashu looks impressive but is the lightly flavored type, so it might be better to leave it submerged in the soup. Overall, it was balanced and delicious, so I thought I’d try the miso next time. Thank you for the meal.
