Coming from the Shibetsu direction, this restaurant is at the entrance to Asahicho. It mainly opens for lunch and offers a wide selection of ramen, rice bowls, curry, ankake yakisoba, set meals, and various meal combinations. With advance reservations, we are happy to accommodate memorial gatherings, banquets, and bento orders even on our regular days off or outside opening hours. In the evening, it becomes a place where you can enjoy craft beer made in Shibetsu.

☆Seifukan☆ Asahicho has several cafes and eateries, and besides Seifukan, there are other tempting places I want to try…^^; That soft serve shop is one of them too☆ Seifukan is at the entrance to town when coming from Shibetsu, in a clean, large building. Since it was past lunchtime that day, I got in and ordered without any trouble. Apparently you order using your smartphone, so I looked at the menu, wondering what to choose〜 I decided on the tasty-looking katsudon on the front of the menu! (I'm hungry^^) While looking through the menu, I saw this eye-catching yellow illustration and thought it looked like someone〜 then ah〜 I couldn't remember his name… the comedian who says “We've started serving chilled ramen〜”^^; I've gone off topic, haha. My bowl arrived without a hitch! It looked delicious right away! Quite a big serving〜 but this is the regular size. The katsu was tender〜 and the seasoning just right☆ The thinly sliced bamboo shoots in it added a lovely flavor♪ And plenty of sauce, just how I like it^^/ It was delicious〜♬ To finish, I had some iced coffee provided free of charge☆ Thank you for the meal! (_ _)

Although there are no other places to eat in this area, this place feels quite stylish. The interior is clean and the atmosphere is decent. I had the roast beef bowl, and it was delicious. However, the miso soup? was clearly instant clear soup, which didn't go with the otherwise lovely roast beef bowl. Maybe I'll try the hamburger plate next?

Visited at 12 on a public holiday in September. No wait, and the restaurant wasn't busy either. The free parking lot is spacious. The menu is small, but the food is delicious and cheap! Water is self-service, and surprisingly, iced coffee was also free and self-service.

Arrived at 12 on a weekday. Apparently, besides the front of the building, you can park along the roadside of the vacant lot next door. There were 5〜6 customers already there. Ordered katsudon. A generous serving, with a home-cooked look. The seasoning was light, but not bad. The pork had a slight animal smell, so I wondered whether it was from freezing, the quality, the preparation, or the light seasoning. Still, considering the value for money, it was perfectly adequate. I enjoyed the meal!

This place increases the size tremendously when you order a large serving. The large curry and katsudon weigh in at the kilogram level. The seasoning is basically home-style. The katsudon had the sweetish sauce common in Hokkaido, with shiitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots.
