It's gotten cold, and eating warm shoyu ramen warms the heart and lifts the spirits, The ramen shop is closed on Tuesdays Why are so many ramen shops closed on Tuesdays? Maybe because it's a business that uses fire, they chose Tuesday, whose Japanese name includes “fire,” as a play on putting out the fire and letting it rest, perhaps,
View on GoogleIt was delicious, but the lukewarm soup and the very long wait for it to be ready were fatal flaws.
View on GoogleI like Goguma Group's ramen and go around trying it, but I was surprised to find that Koguma Group in Shibetsu suited my taste better than Goguma Group's ramen in and around Asahikawa. The restaurant is thoroughly cleaned, and the owner and staff are kind and pleasant, which I appreciate. The price was also very low at 750円.
View on GoogleThis is a place I often stop at when I go to Shibetsu. It faces the national highway and is on the right when heading north from Asahikawa. The frontage is narrow (there's room for 1 car out front), so if you drive, I suggest using the rear parking lot. There's an Asahikawa Ramen sign, so park there. If it's hard to figure out, go in through the back door and ask the staff. Now, about the all-important ramen flavor: I've only ever ordered shoyu Asahikawa ramen (Asahikawa ramen is basically shoyu). I also eat Asahikawa ramen in its hometown of Asahikawa, but the ramen here is especially delicious! The noodles are slightly firm, and the soup is very good too! I think the chashu is good as well.
View on GoogleThe restaurant was busier than I expected. Looking at the menu, there were many kinds of ramen. I pondered a little, but went with my usual chashu men. As for the flavor, as the menu also said, when it comes to Asahikawa ramen, it's got to be shoyu ❕ I ordered it (850円) ❕ It arrived. A sip of the clear soup tasted distinctly of Asahikawa and was very delicious, and the chashu had that old-fashioned flavor and was tasty too ❕ I enjoyed another delicious meal today 😋🍴💕 ❕
