Thursday, 25/11/6 A friend who lives in Shibetsu recommended the mille-feuille and chiffon cake, so I visited for the first time. I bought a cut chiffon cake and a mille-feuille. The mille-feuille isn't in the showcase; it seems that if you order it, they cut it inside and bring it out. It's quite sweet but rich and delicious.

When it comes to cake shops in Shibetsu, this is the one. It's a very famous shop, but the store is very small. The popular item is the extra-large mille-feuille, with crispy pastry layers sandwiching lots of soft cream.

Whichever cake you choose, it's delicious.

The taste has gone down compared to a few years ago. (April, Reiwa 7) The plain mille-feuille is as hard to eat as always, but the whipped cream on the other cakes isn't good. The frozen whipped cream sold at supermarkets is probably better. It's a pity.
