A local institution, which has been going for 70 years. I was the first customer at about 5pm on a Friday so didn’t need to wait, and I sat at the counter. The staff were extremely welcoming and polite. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and it was good value too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re staying locally or heading along the coast.

Humongous portions!! Come here starving — otherwise you’ll be scared when the food comes (like us haha 😅).

Easy to order and was helpful. Dip the noodles into the sauce, don’t dump the sauce on the noodles, FYI.

The (positive) evaluation of the other reviews below does not make sense. Price range of The buckwheat noodles are from 1200 to 1500 yen. but It does not provide a good experience because of the combination of salty and fishy. This restaurant is more for tourists than locals ... I do not know if it is a local specialty, but if you are not Japanese, I do not recommend this restaurant. The only good thing is that it has a lot of quantity. If you do not see a good restaurant near you, I recommend you buy cup noodles or yakisoba at Seiko Mart(Local Convenience Store).
