Very nice coffee shop! The couple running it where very sweet and friendly. They have 3 different roasts for you to choose from depending on your coffee preferences. The coffee was very good and their sweets selection also immaculate. We ended up buying a bag of their coffee beans to take home. The packaging is well thought of and very adorable! The shop also seems to support various local business and you can find a bunch of information about the surrounding area and lakes! They both also speak very good English, the husband is a wild life photographer and the cafe displays his amazing work, if you are interested you can also purchase some of his work directly at the cafe. Overall very happy we stopped here for a little break between driving and sightseeing :)

A cozy place in Utoro. I had a toasty with salmon which was delicious! (おいしかった). Their coffee is also very rich in flavor and I had two ice café au lait. I couldn’t resist and tried their cheesecake which was also delicious. I had a good view to the town and it was nice to see people passing by. Please look at the wild animals pictures and photobomb made by the owner!

We really enjoyed our lunch at Coffee Albireo. Small shop upstairs selling souvenirs and a cafe run by a husband and. Small menu but well done. They had green curry special on the day and it was delicious and beautifully presented. Would recommend!

A cosy place for breakfast! Delicious toasts and coffee are served by a very friendly staff (speaking English), in a warm and sunny room with broad windows. While waiting for your food to be served, you can enjoy photographs and books about the local wildlife. I definitely recommend this place.

If you love coffee, this is the place to go. We enjoyed our well-selected and prepared coffee and cake. The owners are a lovely couple, passionate about Shiratoko’s natural beauty and wilderness (he’s a photographer and she’s a videographer) and gave us thoughtful advice.
