I had a bite here after climbing Cape Kamui and surprisingly, it was pretty good. When you enter the small food court, you have to order your food and drinks at a machine and the machine will give you ticket to which you’ll hand it to the lady at the counter. The beef bowl that one of my folks had didn’t look impressive so be like me and order one of the curry dishes - I ordered the pork cutlet curry with rice and it was delicious 🤤 There’s even free refillable water and tea so you don’t have to spend money on drinks. Though, I do wish that the prices were slightly cheaper but ya know, I understand that they have to make money somehow as you can visit the Cape for free and it’s in the middle of nowhere. And they had a gift shop here and I even bought a small Frenchie dog for ¥1,000 as the brand is pretty expensive back home in my country :3 Other than that, I had a pretty good lunch here

View on GoogleThis restaurant operates more like a canteen.Food price and quality are Ok for a tourist location. We did not find the service staff rude. Key thing to note is you will need cash to eat here. They don't accept card payments. Ordering is by using a machine which accepts cash in small denominations...max 1000 yen bill and coins. After ordering, machine prints a ticket which you need to pass to the service staff. They will pass u back the ticket stub for collecting the food

View on GoogleExtremely Disappointing Experience – Rude Staff and Poor Service This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Japan, primarily due to the shockingly rude behavior of the staff. I ordered the fried calamari, which was underwhelming — with very small portions that did not justify the cost. What stood out more than the mediocre food was the unprofessional and aggressive attitude of the staff. A group of tourists, including children, were loudly yelled at by one of the employees simply because the kids opened a small snack, despite all the adults in the group having ordered full set meals. Instead of handling the situation calmly or discreetly, the staff member shouted at them to “GET OUT!” — loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear — while other employees laughed in the background. It was deeply uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. I was also shouted at for sitting at a table after ordering despite having no signages that the area was not available. The hostility was shocking, especially considering how warm and respectful most people in Japan usually are. Overall, the food was disappointing, but the service was what truly ruined the experience. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant to anyone — especially families or those expecting a typical standard of hospitality in Japan.
