Highly recommended. Stopped here for lunch, got a fantastic nigiri set (herring roe is a rare find!) and a chirashi bowl. Quiet, pleasant space on a weekday in May. Menu in English is available. One block from the Shakotan information center and very close to the glass boat tour pier.

We drove about 5 hours from Obihiro to Otaru, heading towards Cape Kamui. Along the way, we randomly stopped at this sushi restaurant without any plans. What a pleasant surprise! The sushi was incredibly fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. Definitely one of the highlights of our journey. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

We were fortunate to visit this restaurant when sea urchins were in season. Our chirashidon was very delicious and filling. A good meal to fuel our trip from Cape Kamui to Otaru. While the uncle who prepared and served our food did not speak a lot of English, we were made to feel very welcome and appreciated. The lady of the house was also very friendly.

Went there twice and really surprised of the quality and the price. The quality is very low, fish very hard to chew. We was group of people and everyone felt the same.
