Although it's a standalone building, it's called 「佐呂間町開拓資料室」 and treated as a room. It isn't open all the time, so anyone wishing to visit needs to ask the office staff at the community center opposite to unlock it. The exhibits are broadly divided into 5 sections: 1.Ancient 佐呂間 2.The pioneering of 佐呂間 3.Industries of 佐呂間 4.Life in 佐呂間 5.Education in 佐呂間. It's an old facility, but the displays are compact, neatly organized, and easy to understand, leaving me with a very favorable impression.
