Yakiniku set meal A yakiniku set meal with a firm flavor. The meat stir-fried in sweet-spicy sauce makes the rice go down, but the seasoning is somewhat strong. The meat quality isn't bad, but I'd like a bit more toasty aroma from the grilling. Vegetables are served alongside, so it holds together as a set meal. Enough to fill your stomach without pretension. Neither good nor bad, a solid meal.

I went to Shokudo Wagaya in Sarabetsu Village. They're closed on Sundays, so I hadn't had a chance to come. My first visit. There's no parking lot, but it seems you can park on the road beside the shop since it's not a no-parking zone; I parked at the nearby village office parking lot and went in around 11:30. There was 1 customer before and 5 after. The menu is wide, but I ordered the Wagaya special ramen for 1200 yen that I'd been curious about, and my partner ordered the napolitan for 770 yen that's well reviewed. The bowls arrived in about 15 minutes. The Wagaya special ramen has two shrimp tempura on top! It contains oysters, crab claws, baby scallops, clams, peeled shrimp and more. Seafood, you see. You can taste a light seafood umami. The napolitan reportedly has a strong, punchy flavor. I'd like to come again. Thank you for the meal. 🎵

The parking lot is on the opposite side of the street, next to the shop! I had the butadon. The owner's wife said when serving, "Today the meat is big!" When it came out I was also surprised by the amount of pork. I got very full!

Visited the other day. A shop with memories for a great senior in my trade. Both the ramen and the butadon... were insanely delicious. It became a shop I definitely want to go to again. Seriously recommended. Thank you!

The other day I went to eat here with my husband. I had only checked the opening time, so it seems we came in right before closing 💦 Even so, they welcomed us gladly without giving off any unpleasant vibe ♪ Next time I'd like to go with a bit more time to spare. It was my first delicious set meal in a long time.
