Yesterday I had omuchahan with a large portion of rice. Today I had ankake yakisoba with a large portion of noodles. Both the omuchahan and ankake yakisoba were delicious. The ankake yakisoba with extra noodles looked like an extra-large serving, but it seemed to be mostly the generous amount of thick sauce, so I could surprisingly finish it.
View on Google2026.2.11 Labor Thanksgiving Day I visited at lunchtime I was thinking of going into the stylish cafe next door, but something about this indescribable, good old-fashioned appearance made me think they might serve delicious food, so I changed my mind and decided to try it☝️ When I opened the door, the counter? in the middle was full of customers, and someone called out that there was space in the back, so I went into the tatami seating area there I was already taken aback by the size of another customer’s ramen as soon as I walked in, but I was also getting really hungry I ordered ankake yakisoba. Even once I started eating, digging the noodles out of the thick sauce required arm muscles, and it was so hefty that lifting the noodles was hard😅 Loads of vegetables Loads of noodles I was completely satisfied💕 There was also instant coffee by the counter, and although I wondered whether it was okay to have some, I certainly helped myself🙏 Thank you for the meal🙏😋✨
View on GoogleDelicious. An old-fashioned diner. I went after 14時, but there were still a few customers around. There was a delivery box too, so I thought they probably do deliveries. Newspapers and complimentary self-service coffee after a meal might be standard around here! It feels comforting. The shio ramen looks clear and full of homemade character, with a look that tells you it’s delicious before you even eat it. The flavor was too light for me, so I forgot about adding salt and put in a spoonful of soy sauce, which was delicious too. The chashu was tender but still had some bite, and the thicker pieces of fu were lovely^_^ Juicy and delicious. Shio ramen 800円
View on GoogleA long-established diner in Sarabetsu Village. The menu has plenty of variety, including ramen, soba, and donburi, so choosing is part of the fun. I went in around 11時半 and ordered ankake yakisoba this time because I had heard beforehand that it was recommended. While I was waiting for the food, more and more customers came in, and almost all of them ordered ankake yakisoba. After quite a wait, the ankake yakisoba arrived, and I was surprised by the huge portion! Under the generous topping of thick sauce were yellow noodles with a little browning, but the sauce was so heavy that lifting the noodles was difficult. I had heard the flavor was strong, but it wasn’t especially so; the seasoning was fairly gentle. Partway through, I wanted to try adding vinegar, but couldn’t find any on the table. Apparently you need to ask the staff for condiments and such. By the time I finished, the restaurant was almost full, and most people seemed to be local regulars. It reminded me again that this is a long-established diner deeply rooted in the community. There is parking space for 5〜6 cars beside the restaurant. Besides counter seating, there seem to be tatami seats and upstairs seating too.
View on GoogleI visited お食事処あさひ in Sarabetsu Village. I went in around 12時30分. It had been a while. There were no customers before us, but many came afterward, leaving it almost full. It’s a popular local place. I ordered soy-sauce gomoku chashu men for 1000円, and my companion ordered ankake yakisoba for 800円. All 6 other customers at the round counter ordered ankake yakisoba. Our bowls arrived in about 15 minutes. The gomoku chashu men came in a bowl meant for a large serving. Just looking at it, I knew I couldn’t finish it. There were 5 large slices of chashu, plus pork, small shrimp, asari clams, and plenty of vegetables. It was perfectly tasty, but I really couldn’t finish it. Sorry. The ankake yakisoba was also an incredible portion. Apparently the seasoning was strong and seemed like it would go well with rice. A young male customer had a large ankake yakisoba, but the amount looked like a punishment challenge. 食堂あさひ, formidable❗️Definitely coming back. Thank you for the meal🎵
