A popular Chinese restaurant in Sarabetsu. I arrived at 11 on a Saturday and was first in line. When it opened at 11:30, two more customers came in, and then customers with reservations came in one after another, so by 11:40 it was full for those without reservations. I ordered the pan-fried noodles with thick sauce and shredded pork, which looked very delicious in other people's reviews. Since I was first, I didn't have to wait very long for it. I was at the counter so I watched them make it in the kitchen in front of me; the noodles were deep-fried crispy, and looked like about 2 portions. On top was a generous amount of just-right thick sauce. The portion was big, so I wished there was vinegar as a table condiment. Still, it was a very satisfying ankake yakisoba. Thank you for the meal. Also, before 12 a "reservations only" sign was put up, so I recommend reserving when you visit.

\Lucky if you can get in/ A beloved local town Chinese restaurant with a line even before opening. Today is Sunday. Besides regular closing days, there are also private bookings and temporary closures; I finally got in on my third visit. I recommend a phone reservation when you visit. The shop is on the 2nd floor of JA Sarabetsu, reached by stairs. Inside there are counter seats and a raised tatami area, so it's easy to enter whether alone or in a group. Ordered menu ⚀ Pan-fried noodles with thick sauce and shredded pork (1150 yen including tax) The volume is close to 2 servings. Lots of pork and vegetables, the sauce coats the fragrant, browned noodles well and it's delicious. ⚀ C Set (1220 yen including tax) ・Comes with rice, soup, salad, pickles, and dessert or coffee. Lots of meat and vegetables, so tasty that the rice goes down easily. The shrimp mayo was also delicious, and I chose ice cream for dessert; it was hearty and a very satisfying lunch. ※This menu item sold out soon after opening. Payment is cash only.

Pan-fried noodles with thick sauce and shredded pork. Apparently the portion is tremendous, and the "small" size is equal to a normal portion at other restaurants. The staff also asked whether I wanted a smaller portion since it's a lot. I asked for the smaller portion without hesitation. The piping hot sauce whets the appetite. The taste was a bit mild for me.

My first visit, coming from Taiki Town. I had the B lunch's hot and sour noodles. It comes in a huge bowl filling the whole tray, so I went "Wow, it's big!" The flavor is rich with depth, with lots of green onions and vegetables, and the portion is hearty, so I was very satisfied 🍜 Good for when you occasionally want the taste of Chinese food. I'd like to try the fried rice and ginger pork too 🍚🥢

Five-ingredient (gomoku) pan-fried noodles with thick sauce The ingredients are plentiful and it looks lavish. Shrimp and vegetables are all there, and the volume is ample. However, the seasoning of the sauce is somewhat mild and the impression is understated. With a bit more richness and toasty aroma, it would feel a step above. A dish that comes together safely. There's a sense of reassurance, but no strong personality.
