This place was featured on TV ages ago, and I'd been curious about it since before it relocated. I visited for the first time, but sorry, I almost don't even want to rate it. This is my assessment as someone who works part-time at an Italian restaurant. When I entered, there were already 2 groups of customers, and 1 more customer arrived before we left. The staff were unfriendly, and the TV was on quietly. Despite other customers being there, for some reason the atmosphere was incredibly awkward, and I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I couldn't help feeling I shouldn't have gone in at all. I ordered omurice. The egg was very well made and delicious, but the problem was the inside. The rice was ketchup rice, but the ketchup flavor was weak, almost tasteless. And no ingredients!!?? Huh, where are the onions?? The meat?? Hmm? There were 2 tiny things that looked like meat…。。 I wondered if there were other ingredients I just hadn't noticed, but no, it felt like there probably hadn't been any from the start. The price was a whopping 800円…。Even if rice and egg prices have risen with inflation, 800円 for no ingredients and weak flavor is far too expensive…。。I wasted 1600円, and I could make something many times tastier myself. I also felt that convenience-store omurice would probably be tastier and cheaper than this. I'd been curious about dishes besides omurice, but felt I probably couldn't expect much from those either, and vowed never to go again. From now on, when I want omurice, I'll go eat at Nishikawa。。

Today, since my review disappeared, I came back to Yuriya Shokudo after a long time! The interior has a nice atmosphere while retaining traces of the old days! I immediately checked the menu and thought about chashu ramen, but the katsu curry ramen (1150円) caught my eye, so I ordered it❕ It arrived. First I took a sip of the broth: the gentle shoyu broth and slightly sweet soba-shop-style curry were a perfect match. The katsu was thinly sliced, but together with the curry and ramen, I enjoyed another delicious meal today😋🍴💕❕ There wasn't much ramen broth, but it was just the right size to finish♪

Visited just after 11 on a weekday. There was 1 customer already. I tried ordering a small katsu curry on its own, but was told that wasn't possible. Looking at the menu, it seemed small curry was only available as a side dish. I then asked whether small ramen could be ordered on its own, and they said OK. So I ordered small ramen for 500円. The interior, with counter and table seating, felt clean and gave a different impression from the exterior. After a little while, the bowl arrived. It was called small, so fair enough, but the ramen was smaller than I imagined. The noodles seemed insufficiently boiled, with undercooked and clumped sections; perhaps the small amount of noodles made the cooking time difficult to manage? Still, the ramen broth had a strong animal-stock? flavor and was delicious. Even regular ramen is inexpensive at 680円, so I should have ordered the regular one.

2025.06 I visited again after several years. It was a little past 12 noon. There were no other customers, and the restaurant was empty and silent. Even when I opened the door and entered, there was no "Welcome"……。 Before relocating, it had always been packed and so lively there were queues. What on earth had happened? An odd tension hung in the restaurant, with only the sound of the TV echoing emptily. I ordered katsudon and mini omurice. A few minutes later, without even an "Sorry to keep you waiting," a tray was silently pushed in front of me. I don't know……whether it was because my enthusiasm had cooled or because of this cold atmosphere, but the food didn't taste good at all. The katsu in the katsudon was probably premade, and lacked the crispness of something freshly fried. The omurice seemed close to the flavor I remembered, but my overall satisfaction was low. I sincerely wished it would return to the lively restaurant it had been back then——I truly felt that.

The nearby place we planned to visit wasn't open, so we came here. It was right in the middle of lunchtime, yet there was nobody inside. I was also surprised by how unfriendly the people working there were. Despite feeling uncomfortable, we sat down and ordered. Thinking the menu overall was reasonably priced and affordable, I ordered katsudon. My companions ordered omurice and curry respectively. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, without much waiting. The katsudon arrived. It's rare to see something that looks this unappetizing from its appearance alone. The katsu used meat with little fat, but perhaps it was overcooked, because it had tightened up too much and was tough and thin. The omurice looked quite delicious, but had almost no fillings…(when I read other reviews, others had written the same thing) The curry was quite sweet and felt very thick. I understood very well why it was empty despite being affordable. I don't usually write such negative things, but it had been a long time since I'd encountered a place where both the staff's attitude and the food were this bad. I don't think I'll go again. Reading other reviews after eating, I was so disappointed that I almost suspected the claims that it was popular before relocating were untrue.
